Things to know for adopting kittens
in Duosiberian cattery
Available kitten and Waiting List
The cattery has waiting list after determining the breeding plan for the year, we will accept a limited number based on availability. We are trying to get all the potential owners on the waiting list to have a kitten within 10 months.
Potential owners on the waiting list will have priority in choosing kittens. After all the kittens go through people on waiting list, kittens who are still available will open to the public for other potential owners.
The deposit is $400, which will be included in the total cost when selecting a kitten.
The deposit for waiting list is non-refundable and non-transferable for personal reasons. However, if you have not selected your preferred kitten within three years, the full deposit will be refunded.
What will be include with kitten?
All kittens will be spayed/neutered before leaving the cattery. Kittens will be fully vaccinated and updated to the requirement to their age, which includes at least 3 FVRCP vaccines. Due to the age and destination of the kitten, we will also cover rabies vaccination too. These 4 vaccines will cover what they need for their first year.
All the kittens passed at least 1 vet check before leaving the veterinarian.
Deworming and vet/vaccination records will be provided to the new owner.
All kittens will leave cattery with a good health condition, owners will need to take the to a licensed vet for wellness check within a week of arriving. All health concerned that happens in the vet check will be covered.
All genetic problem will be promised after a year of arriving home. MORE DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED IN THE CONTRACT.
A handbook for introducing things needed for cat and what they are using in the cattery will be send to new owner. New home package will also be provided, which valued around one to two hundreds dollars.
Siberian cats are often considered hypoallergenic. While their levels of Fel d1 (the protein responsible for allergic reactions) are typically lower than those of other breeds, we cannot guarantee that they will be completely allergy-free. The Fel d1 value is not an absolute number but rather falls within a range, meaning it's difficult to ensure that a person with allergies will fall within a "safe" zone.
We do not recommend allergy testing for cats, as Fel d1 levels can fluctuate based on various factors, including the cat's age, diet, and environment. Additionally, humans can become more sensitive over time, particularly if their immune system is weakened.
Personally, I am allergic to cats as well. I experience symptoms like sneezing and watery eyes around some of my cats, but interestingly, if the parents have low Fel d1 levels, their kittens tend to inherit similar traits.
Responsibility
We are always welcome people with interest to contact us directly. We would always like to know more of your and your current family members before placing kittens.
We don’t allow kittens to have declaw surgery and transfer of ownership without telling. We don’t accept feeding with pure dry food by reason of lack of nutrition support. More will be provided in the selling contract.
All of our kittens are well-socialized. They are friendly to other cats or dogs. Some of them are truly happy to go out, but we do required to be leashed at all time.
We also provide a life long consultation for our kittens, if you have any other questions about your other cats, we would like to help too.
Pricing
All kittens will be priced depending on their structure, quality, and parents' title.
Kittens will normally price between 2750 to 3200 for a show quality without breeding rights.
Kittens who are disqualified will be between 1500-2000.
Price for cats with Breeding rights and Title will be specified.
All the prices are carefully made due to the quality of living expenses. We don’t mind and compete with others who are cheaper than us. We
only want our cats have best living/food conditions. We believe how much we put on cats and kittens are more than this price.
